Love this post. There is something fun about finding stacked rocks in the middle of nowhere. Often hikers will use them as trail markers for trails that are not easily marked…like when you have to hike over rocks where a trail is not easily worn. I was on a beach somewhere in the caribbean and there were all these stacks of rocks along the beach and rocky shore.

Some were is progress some so simple and others works of skilled hands. Upon inquiry, I was told that they were dreams or prayers, perhaps a memory, a tribute or a wish, a loving thought.
